Short Biography

Elena joined the Interface Group in April 2025 for her PhD after obtaining a master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Bologna.

Her master’s thesis focused on developing an automated method for estimating renal volume in patients with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease, using an algorithm based on Diffusion-Weighted MRI images.

For her PhD, she will focus on the analysis of phase-contrast MRI data correlated with cerebrospinal fluid pressure metrics in the context of spinal cord compression.
