Agnese obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Tor Vergata (Rome, Italy) in 2020 and continued her studies at Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy) with a Master’s Degree. She joined the Interface Group in May 2022 for her Master’s Thesis Project.
Her Master’s thesis aim is to investigate new speed modulation sequences to implement in the Left Ventricular Assist Device HeartMate3 (HM3, Abbott) to restore a nearly physiological level of pulsatility, using lumped parameter modelling and computational fluid dynamics. This research is part of Zurich Heart Project.
