Leonardo obtained his Bachelor Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano (Milan, Italy) in 2019 and continued his studies at Politecnico di Milano with a Master’s Degree specialised in Biomechanics and Biomaterial. He joined the Interface Group in September 2021 for his Master Thesis Project.
His Master’s thesis aims at developing a flow-stretch bioreactor for Endothelial Cells, which will ultimately allow to test and quantify the importance of pulsatile blood flow in homeostatic processes. This research is part of Zurich Heart Project.
