Short Biography

After completing his medical Bachelor’s degree at the University of Fribourg, Marc is currently a medical Master’s student at the University of Zurich. He joined the Interface Group in November 2022 for his Master’s thesis under the supervision of Ms. Yuansheng Zhang. One of the area he is strongly interested in is cardiovascular (patho-)physiology. In line with that, he will in his thesis investigate the interplay between cardiac and renal function, specifically “The extent of reverse cardiac remodeling after renal transplantation”. With that work, he hopes to enable a better understanding, and ultimately a better management, of the cardiovascular risk in patients undergoing renal transplantation.
