Short Biography
Peng joined The interface Group in December 2020 as a visiting PhD student from Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. For his master`s thesis, he utilized computational fluid dynamics to investigate the critical reduced velocity marking the onset of galloping of a square cylinder at low Reynolds numbers. Peng`s doctoral research focuses on shape optimization and blood damage related to ventricular assist devices.
