Short Biography

Claudia was the Lab Manager of The Interface Group from August 2016 to July 2018. Her responsibilities included assisting in administrative issues, setting up of laboratory equipment, and maintaining consumable stocks. She was also involved in several research projects in the group and, additionally, she also took care of student laboratory courses and kept laboratory and research workflows up to date.

Claudia completed her master degree in biochemistry at the University of Bern with an emphasis on virology. She did her PhD at the Institute of Cell Biology of the ETH Zurich in Prof. Christian Frei’s Lab, investigating growth controlling networks. In 2010 she started working as a scientific Lab Manager and post-doctoral researcher in the group of Prof. Ian Frew, combining the management of the lab with the research on oncogenic pathways.
